Just inport a .scv with user mail, name and further details.

Now i only see an export function.

Or can this be done directly into the database?

I recommend using the export function and phplist. phplist will better enable you to control bounces, the link to unsubscribe can be to a phplist page that looks like it is part of your store, i.e. has same header links.

Did you ever get an answer/solution to this?
I too would be interested in this feature.  I currently use a separate system, but would like to integrate it with Magento.  An import feature would be VERY useful!

Regards,
Alex
