I have just made the fourth stable release of my open source affiliate management package, Affiliates for All.  This product grew out of a discussion on this thread: http://tinyurl.com/3qdm8d .  However, it has now become much bigger, and has its own homepage at http://www.affiliatesforall.org/ .

Affiliates for All 1.1.3 is a bug-fix release which should improve the stability of Affiliates for All in a variety of hosting environments.

If you are looking for an affiliate solution that works with Magento, I hope you’ll give AfA a try.  Please let me know how you get on, by posting on the forums at http://tinyurl.com/3e5uyx .

Will,

The Magento module is part of the AFA download in the carts/magento folder. Just copy the contents into your Magento root to install.

Excellent just trying to install it right now smile But I’m confused with a step in installation, once you have uploaded all files, setup db and config.inc. It states you can now connect at web interface for configuration but when I try to access webpage of my installation, I got that:

An error occurred when connecting to the database:
Unable to read the banners table.
This may be because the table definitions have not been loaded into the database.

What should I do ? how do you start configuration process itself ?

Thanks

Vincèn

Nope I used instead a commercial module but I have some bugs also with it, and right now I’m moving away from Magento to Prestashop, fed up with Magento not moving forward at all and so complex and heavy !
