hi! guys,
after completing import procedure for configurable products
now i am working for importing grouped products,
can anyone initiate this work?
some basic knowledge....

i’ve successfully imported grouped products through csv files…

idiot instead of bragging share with people how you did it...................

could you please share your knowledge.. and no your not an idiot, especially if you figured it out and it isn’t even in the magento stock code..

if anything, the magento team are idiots for not putting such things into the code. especially grouped product import and tier pricing and custom options etc…

I need this code for a project and it would be greatly appreciated

it ´s really annoying that Magento offers so much functions and the possiility to create a lot of different product types but does not implement a 100% working import.

I am looking since v. 1.17 for the possibility to import grouped products. We have over 18.000 products in our current non-magento shop and grouped product is absolute necessary for us.

I think about a way to make a parent_id as attribute...no problem...but which tables has to be joined, when i run a user script (without the framework)

Please give me a hint, and i will do the developers work and share the script with the community.

I moded magento in many ways to our company needs, but the missing import function of the grouped products forces me to switch to the oxid community edition.  Oxid also does not own a grouped import, but the DB design is so simple that it is no problem to write a fast and userfriendly import.

Surely there are more people than me, who can not use Magento due to the missing import of grouped products.

I bet the enterprise edition owns the import of grouped products
