Configurable products, page without css formats

I have the following problem, I created a page with configurable products and this page now gets loaded without any css formatting. I use the BCP - Better configurable products extensions, but their support couldn’t really help me and suggest to pay back my money.

Their first comment was that the xml tag in the html tag is missing and I should add it in the page templates. So I checke them and the templates have the following code:
<?php echo '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>’; ?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML+RDFa 1.0//EN” “">
<html xmlns="" version="XHTML+RDFa 1.0” xml:lang="<?php echo $this->getLang() ?>">

Funny enough the html code that gets output looks like this.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML+RDFa 1.0//EN” “">
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"??>
<html version="XHTML+RDFa 1.0">

I checked and its really uses the template, but I don’t really get why it has the following differences:
1.) order is different, Doctype is above xml version-tag.
2.) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"??> has two ?? at the end
3.) this part of the html tag “xmlns="" version="XHTML+RDFa 1.0” “ gets completly deleted

Here the page:

As I have some time pressure to get this up and running it would be great if someone could give he some help or ideas what the problem could be.
I checked google and the magento search but couldn’t find anything like this.

Thanks a alot.
