Is it possible to export category wise products? i.e I want the export to csv feature in manage categories , Category Products tab as shown in the attached screenshot. Please help me in this requirement.

Thank you for your great and very useful extension.

I’ve just installed it.
The exportation works perfectly.

But, the process of importation is stopped at the pop-up windows, once it has counted the number of rows and started the import profile execution (see attached file).

Pardon my stupidity but I cannot see how this module works. I\’ve installed modules before. All folders are in their proper location, I\’ve cleared cache, but nothing has changed.

Please help!

i have found that this module is not working correctly in ie due to some javascript problem.... also, i use ubuntu to do all the coding.... so while uploading the files to server, there might be some permission issues… so you have to recuresively change the permissions of the files to 0777 or 0755......

Sorry for my inexpertise, but how does installing an extension work? Is there some nice command that makes it possible to install the extension, or do I have to manually move/copy all the files to the correct locations? And how does it work then when Magento has an update, will it not overwrite this extension?

This one is direct copy of the files in the corresponding places as per given in the extension…

i am using this extention on magento 1.4.1.1, can you tell me the structure of csv and advance profile..

this is an extension… you have to copy and paste the inside folders in the correct location.... and refresh the cache....

I notice in the csv the column position what is this referring to? Nvrmind its the category ID, if there are not categories currently in the store and you are trying to import categories from another application how are the category id’s to be generated for the csv file?

By the way also what functionality does this provide over module
