Hi guys,
I am creating some architectural diagrams which I will use in my presentation on the 4.3. at the Berliner PHP Usergroup at 20:30 at the Z-Bar.

Feel free to use them, enhance them and spread them out. Enhancing only works reliable with Firefox. Sorry, for all the Internet Explorer Guys.

Hey, that’s awesome. The only thing that differs from my understanding is helpers. From what I understand helpers are not that general. Helpers contain methods that views can use to present data. So, that is why its called a helper because it helps the view display data.

Correct me if I am wrong. I am still trying to fully understand magento and the MVC architect.

Hi ShopGuy,
actually the helpers are not only for the html views. They are also for other concerns.

For example in the Core module there are a lot of helpers which are for general concerns:

app/code/core/Mage/Core/Helper/
