I upgraded manually and my field to set the product price is now gone. It’s showing up as a mandatory field in the Attrubute Set I’m working with, but does not show up when adding or modify a product. The only way I can modify a product price is from the Product List screen, clicking the check box next to the product and then “Update Attributes”.

Any ideas why?

Hi Brady

I had exactly the same issue after upgrading on my sandbox.

During the upgrade the attribute Price may get changed to only apply to Downloadable product.

So go to Catalog->Attributes->Manage Attributes

Edit attribute price, change ‘Apply To’ to ‘All Product Types’ or select the product types you wish to change the price of and save.
It should show up now.

I had no problems upgrading from 1.1.6 to 1.2.1 except for this price issue. However, I am doing manual upgrades, as described here: http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/27939/

I do remember having to convert database tables, but I don’t remember if that was in this upgrade or a previous one. It’s not too difficult to do, if need be: http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/groups/227/convert_database_to_innodb
