Does anyone know how to put different banners on different category pages? I have seen this question posted in a few threads, but no definitive answer. Seems like it would be easy to do, but I’m currently stumped! Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks

Go to the CMS and create a static block that contains the code you want to use for your banner. Name it, make sure to make it active, then save it. Then go the categories and choose whichever category you want. then down towards the bottom you will see a couple of dropdown boxes. Change the first to either “products and blocks” or “blocks”, then below that in the next dropdown select the block you just created. Then save it. That should be it.

Hello!

You can also check out Promo Banners. This extension will help you promote deals on any page of your site: categories, checkout, etc.

Promo banners manager will let you put different banners on different pages.
