Attribute Groups - How to Also Group on Front-end?

Some of our products have close to a 100 attributes I do want to display on the front-end to the customer. However, they are only interesting to the power users really. So I’d like to have them available but hide them initially.

In the admin back-end, you can make Attribute Groups within an Attribute Set. That’s neat.

But how do I then pull this division by groups into the front-end?

Now it reads:

Additional Information
|Two Column | Table Here|

I’d like it to show something like this, with the counts of the number of attributes within each group:

Additional Information - Click topic to expand | Expand All
- General Specifications (9)
- Travel Features (3)
- Power Specifications (8)
- Comfort Options (6)
- Other Features (6)
- Other Specifications (6)
- Etc. (9)

Then OnClick it expands just as it is now in the table.

Similar scenario for the compare screen.

Which variables do I need to inspect which relate to the attribute groups?

I am interested in the same thing (being able to call a particular attribute group) but have seen nothing on the forums that explains how to do so.
