Hi,

In frontend, when user logs in to his/hers control panel and changes something (ie. newsletter subscription), clicks save, the changes don’t preserve. I cannot do any change in user panel. I’ve replaced entire Customer code folder with fresh one from 1.2.1 but the bug still persists.

I’ve done some modification, but only on catalog and checkout, not on customer, nor core.. does anyone know how could I solve this?

I have found the source of the problem—

in function

protected function _validateFormKey()

{

if (!($formKey $this->getRequest()->getParam('form_key'null))
            ||
$formKey != Mage::getSingleton('core/session')->getFormKey()) {

return false;

}

return true;

}

$formKey always returns NULL .. does anyone know why? I get the same problem with both default design and my own ? How dangerous it is to disable this validation? Someone help? smile

That is exactly what I have done for now. But this validation is there for some reason.

Well perhaps it is fixed in the next update.

Thanks for the fast answer.

Greetings
Thomas
