Hi all

I am also bugged by this issue since this morning when I exported my .csv file and edited it with MS Excel.

Product type is not supported in rows: 645, 673, 675, 679, 681, 684, 686, 688, 691, 693, 695, 698, 700, 702, 705, 708, 710, 712, 714, 716, 718, 720, 722, 724, 726, 729, 731, 733, 737, 739, 741, 744, 746, 748, 750, 752, 754, 756, 758, 760, 762
Orphan rows that will be skipped due default row errors in rows: 674, 676, 677, 678, 680, 682, 683, 685, 687, 689, 690, 692, 694, 696, 697, 699, 701, 703, 704, 706, 707, 709, 711, 713, 715, 717, 719, 721, 723, 725, 727, 728, 730, 732, 734, 735, 736, 738, 740, 742, 743, 745, 747, 749, 751, 753, 755, 757, 759, 761, 763, 764, 765, 766, 767, 768, 769, 770, 771

I am saving it in .csv Comma Separated Values (.CSV) mode, I have an sku and the type is either simple or downloadable, I cant find the issue as the product name and type and sku are like before and unchanged. I save the document also as Comma Separated Values (.CSV) with UTF-8

I tried the original file too but with the same result. If I am using the import option ‘System’ ‘Import/Export’ ‘Data Flow Profiles’, I am short around 100 products. So it must import some of them at least.

Could it be an issue that I have changed from ‘virtual’ to ‘downloadable’ product? what attributes are related or are different then to virtual product?

I have also just noticed that all of my products are still listed in the category but not all under the ‘Catalog’ ‘Manage Products’. why is that?
I still get the “Product type is not supported in rows” and the SKU error when using the other import function. Thank you
