Magento

I try to add new products to my magento 1.7.0.2 store and after saving it I get this error: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry ‘18856-1’ for key 2

any Idea what can be wrong?

I did not make some changes, updates or installed some new extensions at all.

What happens when you try and reindex your site?

it get reindexed normaly but the error still exist

I assume you’ve already tried restarting your MySQL server?

Can you post the contents of you my.cnf ? (MYSQL configuration file)

ok, I just hired a freelancer and he fixed this in 15 minutes

The solution was clearing log database with a script /mlx.php
