Hi folks,
I’ve just released my first magentoconnect extension, and want to provide an update.
But if i want to update my extension via connectmanager, i always get

My package only contains locale files, so i thought maybe i have to use the version control in the core_resource table. So i added a xml in /app/etc/modules/my.xml and in a structure in the community area with only a config.xml containig a version number.
But that version is also NOT UPDATABLE.
I always get the error.

What are the best practices here to provide a seamless update for my customers?

dont worry.
Obviously updating locally doesnt work. i have uploaded my extension, and the update via magentoconnect works fine.

so, just ignore this
