Hello, has anyone come across the problem of customer record import hanging for excessive amounts of time? We have 70,000 customer records in at the moment, but then the import just hangs when we try and upload the next CSV.
Most likely the import method you are using requires lots of server resources, thus the procedure hangs. Try to make max execution time, memory limit and other resources as big as they can be.
If it still won’t work, you can use alternative solution for importing, like Store Manager for Magento which handles the process directly from PC if you set up bridge connection. In any case, you can try it out, as there is 14-days free version of the application. You can download it here -
