I received today a message from PayPal - our IPN notifications appear to be failing, but only now and again (about 1 in 5 or 6 aren’t coming through):
I’ve taken a look at the messages. However, I was unable to identify a pattern that would hint towards why the particular IPN Messages are failing.
So I would like to ask you to get in touch with your developer in order to get a logging facility implemented. Most webshops already offer a function to activate IPN Logging.
However, this may not be the case for your particular shop and module, so you may need to get a developer to look into the IPN Handler code.
How can I enable a log (or where can I find it) to discover why this isn’t working?
Another of our customers has emailed saying they got this error:
“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /home/redwoodf/public_html/rwlive/lib/Zend/Db/Statement/Pdo.php on line 290”.
Is this likely to be related?
