Hi,
We have an extension that allows us to edit orders that are in processing status. In all cases, we only allow upgrades on products, therefore, the cost always goes up. When we edit the order, there is now an amount due to us which causes some issues.
First - we have to collect the additional amount from the customer. Is there a way for us to send them an invoice to pay for the upgraded order amount (via paypal, etc) directly from Magento?
Second - How do we reconcile when the payment is received? I don’t see an option to change the amount that was paid. How can we mark that amount paid so we can begin processing the new order and send it to shipping?
