Web configuration error

Hi,

I have accidentally configured the magento backend to a non-existing domain and now the old domain (an existing domain I own) disappeared altogether. So when I go to my old domain it automatically pops up the non-existing domain name that I configured to. But because the non-existing domain is not registered, it shows nothing and now I don’t even have access to the backend anymore. Does anyone know how I can have access back into my old domain’s system?

Many thanks.

Change the base_url in the core_config_data DB table to the correct host and clear the cache manually (empty var/cache in the site root) and refresh your browser and all should be good again.
