I have Magento 1.7.2 installed and I would like to be able to add Downloadable Products to my inventory. However, there seems to be no “Downloadable Information” tab in the admin Dashboard (under Catalog-->Manage Products-->(after selecting a product it is the Product Information panel on the left side). The “Downloadable Information” tab is supposed to be the very last tab after the “Custom Options Tab. However, it is missing.

I see that the downloadable.xml is in place and so are the other folders and files that I have come across - I just don’t know how to enable that tab to show.

I see many help forums with people asking how to hide the tab, and I have looked at those in hopes of doing the opposite but to no avail.
