I’m a newbie .. Could anyone tell me how to move the mini search form from middle top position to a lower position on the right side under log in area ?

This is the code from the catalogsearch.xml :
<reference name="">
<block type="core/template" name="" as="topSearch" template="catalogsearch/"/>

and this is the css code :
.top-bar { float:left; margin: 3px 0 0; }
.form-search { }
.form-search label { float:left; font-size:12px; font-weight:bold; padding:0 5px 0 0; }
.form-search input.input-text { float:left; width: 197px; border-color:#d6d4d4; border-right: 0; padding:5px; }
.form-search input.input-text:active, {float:left; width: 197px; border-color:#ff292c; border-right: 0; padding:5px;}
.form-search button.button { float:left; height:27px; border-left: none!important; border:1px solid #d6d4d4; background: white; color:#acacac; line-height:21px; padding:2px 15px;}
.form-search button.button:hover { background: white; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete { z-index:999; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete ul { border:1px solid #999; background-color:#f9f5f0; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete li { text-align:left; border-bottom:1px solid #f4eee7; padding:2px 8px 1px 8px; cursor:pointer; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete li .amount { float:right; font-weight:bold; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete li.odd { background-color:#f6f6f6; }
.form-search .search-autocomplete li.selected { background-color:#ecf9ea; }

.header-container .top-container { padding:5px 12px; background:#fff; border:1px solid #bbb; border-width:0 1px 1px; text-align:right; }

The key drawback of default search is the lack of features to set priorities for attributes, and therefore the relevance (sorting) of search results is not very good. Use this extension It will solve most of the problems associated with the search.
