Hi, I have a major problem with duplicate content using Magento v1.5. After years of selling single items on product pages where the only difference would be the colour.. now Google does not like my website.
I need to be able to sell from selected category pages only. The problem is if i disable the product in the category it will not show on the category page.! Plus i don’t want to set thousands of products to NOINDEX,FOLLOW.
My question is: Is it possible to inject some XML into selected product pages to make rout to 404..? yet at the same time the product will show on its category page..
Any help would be great.
