Hi,

I’d like to add a button to the order view in the backend.

When I click this button, the relevant customer must be mailed. I’d like to use a new template file for this email (located in app/locale/en_US/template/email/sales).

And then the next question; Is it possible to add a comment (variable) in this email?

I’d like to use this feature to notify the customers with an expected delivery time (1week - 2weeks -3weeks,...) so the complete email will be:

Dear customer,

Your order will be excepted in our stock in [[var]] 2 weeks [[var]]
