Hy everyone

I have a problem with my Taxes.

I built a Shop on Magento 1.7.0.2 and I want to display all Products incl. Taxes. So I changed the “Catalog Prices” to “including Taxes” and also pretty much all other settings.

In the Backed, it works perfectly. My proces are shown Incl. Tax.
Also in the frontend it looks good. In the list and singelview, both incl. Tax

But when I want to checkout, it adds the Tax to the price (which should be already included).. Do you have an Idea whats wrong?

In Shopping Cart Display Settings (Admin -> Configuration -> Sales -> Tax)
What have you set each option to?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with your setup, at least there doesn’t appear to be.
Something worth trying would be to make sure you have set the Origin address in Shipping Settings (Admin -> Configuration -> Sales -> Shipping Settings -> Origin). Set this to be the address where you will ship the item from, I believe this has affect on the Tax calculation.

Let me know if that does anything.

There we always had our swiss-adress (which should be correct)

I have encountered this issue before, I just can’t remember what exactly I did to fix it.
Under Default Tax Destination Calculation make sure both State and Postcode have a *

Already checked that..

Ah ok, it was just in the screenshot you sent me it looks as if the Postcode is blank.
I’ll have a look see what other settings I’ve changed.

I’m afraid I can’t put my finger on what is causing the problem, there must be some setting in either Configuration or Sales > Tax that isn’t configured correctly.

Are you using any Custom Themes or Extensions? Have you overwritten any of the Base Magento files?
