I’m working on an extension that allows the system to assign a price rule by customer attributes. I was able to get the admin side to store this information in the database, but I have having a hard time to figure out where the product ‘final_price’ is created in the object.

I have looked in the CatalogRule, Catalog, CatalogIndex, Rule, etc and cannot find where the product calculates the “Special Price” so users can give specific users a special discount by a specific attribute on a customer.

If anyone has a decent idea where to look, that would be great.
