Is Magento can be used to build a price comparison website?
superadmin Building a Global catalog And when the seller is registered Is Given to him limited access to administration panel, He can add products from the global catalog That superadmin created And add prices and details etc. , So in the Front store When you click on a specific product You get a page with all the prices of the sellers
that you have in your store With the option to filter by price!!!

If anyone knows or knows of someone who can to developer module As this please tell me know.

Yes you can, however you are trying to build a marketplace with a reference catalog, Magento Enterprise has admin permissions otherwise there are some extensions that supposedly do this.

For this scenario we instead use an MDM/PIM (product information manager) application with a reference catalog and then each store owner is given access to the PIM to select from the reference set, configure their pricing and the product is loaded to Magento automatically for single page display. Magento is not good at being a PIM, permission issues, image editing, slow, too many fields to update, etc. The PIM method uses standard Magento with no code changes or extensions, this provides more stability, better performance, faster data entry and quick deployment.

Excellent, always good to open up a 1yr old thread. For reference, do not even bother, you can but normally you will be processing 100s thousands of products so your hosting bill will be high $100s per month and you will hit brick walls in Magento processing, we know, we have done it, marketplaces are a whole new level of difficult when trying to use Magento.

So it is just best to use WordPress (we use it with WooCommerce) to do this, which is used by most affiliate sites anyway and for a good reason. If you want to generate revenue of $1million+ and build a site like ShopStyle with 1million products then yes you can use Magento, we have done this as well, but otherwise it is not smart at all.
