We have Magento CE 1.7.0.2 and we want to use Lazy Load feature for our images.

Here’s what I found using Google.

I even installed this free extension.

http://www.mgt-commerce.com/magento-lazy-load-images.html

but it doesn’t work with my theme.

Also, my website’s URL is http://www.letsmodify.com/

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I just install it to our store(http://www.easypdfinvoice.com/store.html). it’s super easy to integrate.
Edit the layout file: catalog.xml
find
<catalog_category_default translate="label"> and <catalog_category_layered translate="label">
add this code:

<reference name="head">
<!-- ... -->
<!--
This is the code need to add -->
<
action method="addJs"><script>bramus/lazierLoad.js</script></action>

Upload the LazierLoad.js to folder: MAGENTO_ROOT_FOLDER/js/bramus/lazierLoad.js
Edit file: LazierLoad.js

Replace

replaceImage    "blank.gif",
loadingImage    "spinner.gif",

By something like this

replaceImage    "http://static.easypdfinvoice.com/skin/frontend/default/pdf/layzyLoader/blank.gif",
loadingImage    "http://static.easypdfinvoice.com/skin/frontend/default/pdf/layzyLoader/spinner.gif",

Make sure you upload these image to your server.

CLEAR your Magento Cache

That all.
good luck!

I am using this: http://www.mgt-commerce.com/magento-lazy-load-images.html
with the newest version (1.0.0) of JAIL (http://sebarmeli.github.io/JAIL/). Be sure to read the information posted on the JAIL webpage as the guide provided by mgt isn’t complete.
