Saved Credit Card----if I disable it, will the cc be charged, but it just wonââ¬â¢t be saved? Or will it keep the customer from being able to use the cc to check out? (I donââ¬â¢t want cc info saved on the site.)
Please help me understand this before I mess something up.
The saved credit card option doesn’t actually charge the card it saves it so you can perform manual authorisation later. If you ever do decide you want to provide customer the ability to save card details for future orders you are far better using a card tokenisation service live Cybersource offer.
Like you I’d never want to save actual card details on a site. Far too risky in my opinion and PCI is a nightmare.
If you donââ¬â¢t want to save your identity with it you can simply ask for the removal, else it doesnââ¬â¢t matter because they are dealing with customers in a day. There are many other options to get it done, so do assist for the same.
