I have a Facebook page I want to use on my Magento site. There is a facebook, twitter, and rss button on my magento template pages.

Where do I enter my Facebook page link on the Admin section?

Thanks,

Unless the template developers wrote an admin panel in to handle the URLs, it I would guess you will find that in in the static block loading the icons.

If you have trouble I would contact the developer who sold you the template, they will be better prepared to help. If they don\’t shoot me a PM I will do what I can to help.

There is nothing in the admin CMS> Static Block list for social media icons (specifically, facebook).

Is there another place I can look?

I downloaded the theme and looked over the theme. You need to edit the following link app\design\frontend\default\mhitech\template\page\html\footer.phtml

The piece of code you are looking for is this

<nav class="blog_links">
                        <
ul>
                            <
li><a href="#"><img src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/icon1.gif') ?>" alt=""/></a></li>
                            <
li><a href="#"><img src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/icon2.gif') ?>" alt=""/></a></li>
                            <
li><a href="#"><img src="<?php echo $this->getSkinUrl('images/icon3.gif') ?>" alt=""/></a></li>
                        </
ul>
                    </
nav>

Change the href of each icon to point to the correct URL.

Hope this helps

That helps. I was hoping I didn’t need to cut into the code and hard code the solution. Just in case I upgrade—I will end up having to keep side notes in these things so I can do them over again.

Appreciate the help.
