I looked at a few other threads asking the same question and logically adding the slider seems relatively easy. I mean you add the .js files to the js folder in magento and make sure the code in the head calls the .js.

I added the .js in the head.

css/camera.css

I added that into the home page xml layout, and added the .js to root/js/slideshow/

<div id=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"camera_wrap\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" class=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"camera_wrap\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">
<
div data-src=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://cdn.yourdomain.com/images/image1.jpg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" data-link=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://www.yourdomain.com/something.html\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

<
div data-src=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://cdn.yourdomain.com/images/image2.jpg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" data-link=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://www.yourdomain.com/something.html\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

<
div data-src=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://cdn.yourdomain.com/images/image3.jpg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" data-link=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://www.yourdomain.com/something.html\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

<
div data-src=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://cdn.yourdomain.com/images/image4.jpg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" data-link=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"http://www.yourdomain.com/something.html\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

</
div>

I added this code to the static block and I am calling that block in the xml layout area

<reference name=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"slide-main\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">
<
block type=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"cms/block\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" name=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"full-slide\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" >
<
action method=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"setBlockId\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"><block_id>full-slide</block_id></action>
</
block>
</
reference>

I followed other threads, with no success, then I came across this blog http://www.intellibi.com/blog/?p=58 using the same slider I am the camera slider http://www.pixedelic.com/plugins/camera/

I know this might not be enough to go off of, but I have quite a few projects, and dont want to spend days on this, so I am hoping I can get some help from some nice people on here. If there is more info you need let me know, if you have an idea to get the slider to work from scratch instructions, then go ahead shoot.
