Hi guys,

I’m currently wondering how exactly Magento handles stock undordered products.

If I have a customer who adds a quantity of 10 items f my product to the cart, then I can see this stock being substracted from stock. The customer eventually never submits the order and the stock is ‘lost’ forever.

holds that true for magento or am I experiencing a bug or a misconfiguration?

Hi,

1) You may filter by date and status the oldest orders in admin panel and cancel the orders with pending status.
or
2) it is necessary to develop an extension or customize your Magento.
