We had a couple orders where customers had entered phone numbers without an area code (1234567).  So we added a bit of custom code to force the phone number to contain an area code.  The problem was that international customers are having trouble now.

Is there an extension or method to validate phone numbers so they are better than simply 1234567, and can also accept international phones?
