Can Magento have a wiki integrated with it?

Hi there,

I’m looking to create a new e-commerce store using Magento. My client already has a a wiki for their company using www.mediawiki.org. For example, this is a sample wiki (not my client’s company but just a sample one).

My client would like to create an e-commerce store using Magento. I would like to create a wiki within Magento that when customers come onto the site they can read the wiki and navigate through the various sections. When they’re finished navigating they are presented with a list of products that they can purchase through the store. Those products are related only to that wiki category. The wiki will have approx 40 categories.

So what I want to know is, is it possible to set up a wiki through Magento? Are there extensions out there that can do what we’re looking for?

Thank you

Why not let wiki remain a separate section (folder) of the website. Install Magento to root or some folder and do some integration. The easiest - add links from wiki to Magento product pages.

I would keep the current Wiki (since it\’s already settled in Google I assume), setup Magento on a sub-dir and try to look for a plugin (maybe you have a Wordpress website) which you can use to easily link to your store.
