Hello

Hoping for assistance with an image uploading problem that has (seemingly) suddenly occurred, and that I have been unable to rerolve.

Suddently, when adding or updating products, I cannot upload images correctly.

I click ‘browse files’ and the image box appears. I can select the files to upload.

I click ‘upload files’ and nothing happens, images box disappears, no thumbnails appear and I cannot them upload.

Can anyone assist, why is this happening, and what is the solution?

It is Magento ver. 1.6.1.0

Hello Gavin!

Here are a few items for you to do:
- try another browser
- check if the image size is not bigger than 2 MB (as I know it is not possible to upload bigger images)
- check if you have enough space for images at your FTP
- check if the folder from which you upload images contains no more than 2 thousand of products

If all the mentioned won’t solve the issue, as an alternative I can offer you to add your images using the application called Store Manager for Magento.
It is desktop solution, so you won’t have issues with installation.

Using the application your images should be added correctly.

In any case, you can try it out. It might be helpful.
