Hi

Steps i am done:

1. From System -> Tools -> Backups, i am taken “Database and media backup”.
2. I am already have one theme but now tried to install another theme using magento connect. new theme url
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/themes/modern-theme.html
3. But new theme failed in middle after throwing some error.
4. Now from admin panel. i did “rollback”
5. “Rollback” succeded, but not able to login to admin later on.

Getting the “Invalid User Name or Password” error message. After debug, i came to know that the error message is coming from
“app\code\core\Mage\Admin\Model\Session.php” file

I am using 1.7 version.

Could you please do the needful help ASAP ...

Only thing I can suggest is to check your admin username and email address direct in the DB.  If these are correct try a pwd reset.

If you have a dev/staging system that you can log into then try copying the hashed password from the DB and replacing it in the one you can’t log into.  I’ve done this before with success so it may work for you.

Great thanks Rich. “Rollback” option removed the data in “admin_user” but not inserted again. So after inserting data manually, i am able to login now. But not sure why its not inserted data and also no idea how many such errors.
