Hey All,

I have just installed the latest stable magento from the website. I went through the initial pages, but when I was presented with that page that says “Go To Frontend” and “Go To Backend”, the backend results in a 404 error.

I had a look around and it seems none of the links work… And when I check the URLs, the corresponding directories do not exist (although I am sure you guys do something with URL-rewrites).

My only clue is that when i go to the base index.php without using https, it works - otherwise I get a 404 error.

Am I missing something, do I need to do something special for https to work. If it is an SSL problem, then how come I get a 404?

Thanks for the help :)

~ Dan
