Hi,
New with magento and question:

Is it possible to show loggedin customers, which products in their orders are in backorder?
So if they do an order with many products, but one product is in backorder, we can ship the other products and gave these status ‘sent’.

So client can see if he is logged in:
Order 123
- product 1 is sent
- product 2 is in backorder.

Hope this is possible and someone can explain me how.

Please take a look at this backorder extension

by default in client dashboard there will be the following

product 1 :Ordered: 1
Shipped: 1

product 2 :Ordered: 1

but it’s possible to customize the extension to meet your requirements. Please contact us with details so we can discuss the task - for example what should happen if number of products will be updated (if status should be changed automatically from backordered to ordered)
