Magento

hi,
I was trying to install the open source version of Magento by following the steps mentioned on the website.
I deployed the application on the Apache server and was able to access it but before I could access the admin panel, I got the attached error.
Kindly help.

If you go to your magento root/errors and rename the local.xml.sample just to local.xml it will display the actual error.

Please post this error and ill give you further advice.

Go into var/report from your document root and you’ll see a file with the same name as the error report id, open it up and it’ll tell what the problem is.  Feel free to post the contents of the file up if they make no sense.
