Magento

There appears to be a logging in bug .
I tried to log in using same pw as always and wouldnt let me.
so i requested new pw - which was sent to me.
I put in new pw and it goes back to user id in login ( same user id always)
if i put in random pw it then says “ invalid user id or password and then back to user id in login.

This seems very strange
Was there a backup around 15hours ago that affected my login perhaps
