I’m trying to test magento on my Pc. I’ve easyPHP WAMP as support. I’m using XP as ystem senvironment.
When I navigate through directories to install i get the following message:

How can install and test magento within this envirnoment.

I ‘ve had the same problem
try AllowOverride All in httpd.conf

... and ensure short tags are turned on for PHP either in the .ini or through an .htaccess file.
