I had tried to remove “.htaccess” in “media” folder, and did clear cache.
But those new added products, their images are not show.

I have what sounds like the same exact problem!

All my products were displaying fine, then up to about a month ago, all the products since have had no images attached. I just receive a 404 error on the images.

I have found out the images are getting copied to media folder, but not media-product-cache! Which is where the website reads the images from and where the thumbs|small images are generated.

Have you found a solution, I have tried MANY things, but nothing works.

php_value safe_mode off

This is the MOST important requirement.

After turn off, images are showing.
