We would like to offer a online booking service whereby a variety of merchants can offer travel services using our online payment solution.

Say a small hotel or tour operator needs to charge a guest or client upfront, he can offer his tours/packages on our website (clientname.ourdomain.com) which has somewhat branded look for each operator.

Client selects the tour, date, # of people, etc., and then our PSP takes care of the rest.

So one Magenta install would manage many different ‘shops’.

Can magenta do this?

Already found the answer: the Enterprise edition offers one license, many stores.

But it’s way too expensive for our target market.

Seems we have to look elsewhere.

Hey, the multistore functionality as far as I can see is available in Magento CE too, if you check out multistore functionality. Ive got multiple stores setup here just having problems getting them to pickup individually configured templates.
