many thanx MagikSwapna

but would you please provide more help about how to add it ?

so far and what I know is that cms takes code like

block type="cms/block" block id="banner"
for example

and the slider has js, css part and html

so I need to add the html to the cms ? or what should I do ?

<html>
  <
head>
    <
link href="js-image-slider.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <
script src="js-image-slider.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

</head>
  <
body>
    <
div id="slider">
        <
img src="slide-1.jpg" alt="Caption for slide 1" />
        <
img src="slide-2.jpg" />
        <
a href="http://www.menucool.com"><img src="slide-3.jpg" /></a>
        <
img src="slide-4.jpg" />
        <
img src="slide-5.jpg" alt="Caption for slide 5" />
    </
div>
  </
body>
</
html>

I would really appreciate any help

Hello,

Add your css and js files under page.xml.
And under CMS -> Pages -> Content area add following code -

<div id="slider">
<img src="{{skin url=’HERE YOUR IMG PATH’}}” alt="Caption for slide 1” />
<img src="{{skin url=’HERE YOUR IMG PATH’}}” />
<a href="http://www.menucool.com"><img src="{{skin url=’HERE YOUR IMG PATH’}}” /></a>
<img src="{{skin url=’HERE YOUR IMG PATH’}}” />
<img src="{{skin url=’HERE YOUR IMG PATH’}}” alt="Caption for slide 5” />
</div>
