Please help, I can´t make PayPal option to show in checkout. I already set my base currency to US Dollar as I read in other topics but nothing happened… does someone have more ideas? I would really appreciate some advice

Did you setup PayPal in the payment section?

System->Configuration->Sales->Payment Methods

Under payment methods, you’ll see the various types of PayPal options and you’ll have to configure it based on the type of account you have with PayPal.

Are you sure of your configuration? You can check cache again or go to your back-end->System->Tools->Compilation and check Compiler Status. If Compiler Status is Enable you need to change into Disable and Run Compilation Process again. If it still does not work please provide me with some screenshot of your paypal configuration. I will check and help you solve it.
