Frontend SSL not working

I’ve configured use secure URLS in Frontend to Yes. However it will have the https, but the SSL lock/icon doesn’t show up. So it’s just using https, but says that the site is not secure.

The backend is also configured with yes, and it works just fine with the SSL lock/icon and info etc.

Anyone know why that’s happening and how to get it so that the SSL lock/icon actually shows?

Version 1.7.0.2 new install with nothing else....

You probably have some image links, css/javascript files or similar which are not loaded from ‘https’. This will break SSL validation and you will get a warning/no lock icon in the browser. Check the source code of the page and look for references to non-https resources.

Sindre is probably right on with the assessment of the problem. I would recommend using httpfox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/httpfox/ for firefox. It will make finding the problem a lot easier.
