I successfully upgrade the magento 1.7

Everything working fine for me but the front end search is not working :(

Its give me result when I m typing but when I click submit (for get all result) its is give me error.

Error is

Column not found: 1054 Unknown column ‘e.sku’ in ‘on clause’

I tried all option available online but luck :(

Please help me out for this ...thanks in advance .

Any one Plssssssssssss......

Can you please post the complete error message (stack trace). Do you have any 3. party extensions installed which may not be compatible with Magento 1.7?

The problem comes from your template:
/var/www/posturite/app/design/frontend/posturite/default/template/page/2col
umns-left.phtml

It probably contains some block markup which is not compatible with Magento 1.7. Try to replace the file with the default one from latest package to see if the problem goes away.

I try to find this file in default one from latest package but i couldn’t find it.

Can you pls send me path of the file from latest package so i can copy past it.

I found it i replace with

app/design/fronted/base/default/temple/page/2columns-left.phtml

but its not working still...:(

i clear cache also.

and one more thing i want to inform that, if i search for

“cha” the its working but if i search for “chair” then its not working…

i really cant understand this reallyyy....

I think the problem comes from this file:

It contains markup not compatible with Magento 1.7.

DON’T DELETE THE FILE.

Simply rename the file to something like view.bak. Magento will automatically fall back to the base version (Correct one)

You will then see if it works

i rename it by “view.bak.phtml”...and then clear cache and rebuild the catelog search index.

Still it is not working ...still give me same error.....:(((
