How do I remove “Add to Wishlist, Add to Compare” on Magento 1.7?

Wishlist extension can be disabled in configuration
System - Configuration - Advanced - Disable Modules Output (fing Wishlist and disable it output)

Compare is not separate extension and cannot be disabled by default. You can try to use this free extension ET Advanced Compare (http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/et-advanced-compare.htm). Please read the installation instruction.

Thank you for the reply. I was able to disable the “Add to Wishlist” It worked fine.

The link for the compare extension you gave me returned a 404 error. I searched and found this:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/et-advanced-compare.html but that isn’t compatible with 1.7 which I have.

Sorry for cutted link. Last symbol was gone.

This extension is compatible with 1.7.0.2 (is testet on versions from 1.3.2.4 to 1.7.0.2)

Thanks, the extension worked great! It removed all compare with ease.

I’ve had second thoughts so I uninstalled the extension. And now the compare function doesn’t work anymore. It says “Item added to comapre successfully but it doesn’t show up. How do I fix this?

Clear all cache including css and js. If it not helps, probably not all files was removed.

Yes. There is 2 buttons. Second is for images.

I am getting error 404 with the extension?
