I just installed the Magento Beta 0.7.14800, and everything is working well, except the PayPal Direct. When I try to buy something from my store, after I finish the checkout process and click on the “Place Order” button I see this message:

“There was an error processing your payment. Please check your payment information or contact us if you have any question.”

I already placed all the PayPal API information (API User Name, API Password, API Signature) in the Magento Admin. And I’m buying with a valid credit card that I used before for the Saved CC payment method.

Have I missed something?

Can someone help?

Do you have a PayPal Website Payment Pro account or standard?

I have a PayPal Business Account with API Credentials enabled.

PayPal says that to use PayPal Payments Standard I just have to log in to my shopping cart provider’s website and follow the instructions to add PayPal as a payment processor. And I thik that’s what I did…

I already added my API Credentials in:
System > Configuration > PayPal

And enabled the “PayPal Direct” method in:
System > Configuration > Payment Methods

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, Ive upraded to 0.7.15480.(latest).. aldo You need to get the latest update. I have Paypal business (standard) Api details are not used in Magentos standard Paypal.. it works well just one think which im sure is a bug… Item names in Paypal is replaced with Company name?
