hello everyone, i need some help here.
after searching in many forums and sites after a guide, i’ve see they are almost the same.
well, i followed the instructions word by word, and got stucked on the installation wizard screen that is attached.

i cannot go foward, there is no visible issue, just the “Please set all required settings before clicking Continue” message.

can someone help me?

Hi,

I’ve never seen this particular message personally however I did notice one thing that probably won’t be helping :

Magento does not like running from “localhost” as it is not a full domain name. 

The simplest answer is to add a domain with dots to your local hosts file (/etc/hosts under linux, system32/drivers/etc/hosts under windows) like this :

and go in your browser to http://local.test.com/magento/ to install.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have the same issue.

I did a direct download via ssh and installed that way and it worked. Still don’t know what caused the problem initially.

I’m having the same issue. I have not been able to proceed to the “Create an Admin” account page yet. Any ideas why this is happening or anything I can check?

I’m running this on Ubuntu Server x64 12.04 LTS with the LAMP package installed. I downloaded the full set up via SSH and unpacked it into the /var/www directory.
