Hi all,

I am running Magento 1.6.0 default Import/Export Profile with my .XML file ( sample below ) and I want to import products and create categories on the fly.

I want to import categories like this : category_1/category_2/category_3

Any input is much appreciated!

I really appreciate if anybody could just point me to the right direction here.

I have found threads that explain how to just import categories but I would like to import products + create categories in the same time.

I’m in the same situation and I’m trying to use MAGMI. It seams that it just does what you want but I have not gotten it to work.
