Magento

I have upgraded to Magento 1.7 and now I can’t use the connectmanager anymore, when I access connectmanager I get the message:
Cannot connect to host: www.domainname.com

Any idea what is causing the problem?
File permissions?

Also the inline translation doesn’t work anymore after upgrading to 1.7.

Anyone having the same problem and found an solution??

Why don’t you try upgrading via FTP? If you want to upgrade like this here is one useful tutorial for you.:
