That’s not much of an explanation; could you be a wee bit more specific?  I’ve been trying for a week to get rid of Paypal, the chalkboard, and the Customer Service dog!  Real help, please?

Hi Friends,

I found the solution using logo.phtml file you can remove the paypal logo from right side and the path for logo.phtml is as below

D:\wamp\www\magentonik\app\design\frontend\base\default\template\paypal\partner\logo.phtml

Here you just comment the image code.

Thanks & Regards,

What do I do when there is not Paypal option under Sales on the left side in Configuration?
(It used to be there, but it’s gone in the latest magento, or at least in my pretty new installation of 1.7.0.2)

I’ve tried Default as well as Store and all Store views… no luck.
logo is on website (default position in the right sidebar thingie)

Edit - nevermind, found it:
/default/template/paypal/partner/logo.phtml
Delete or replace what’s there.

Or edit your theme’s local.xml and add this line:

<remove name="paypal.partner.right.logo"/>

This method works, thank you.

Hi,

It took me forever to figure out how to get rid of the logo. So, I thought I would share this with someone who also needed it. For the 1.7, there wasn’t tab in the configuration area to rid of the logo.

to get rid of the paypal logo completely, go to public_html/app/design/frontend/base/default/template/paypal/partner/logo.phtml

before img src put in the following:

style="display:none"

Your code will be as following:

<a href="#" title="<?php echo Mage::helper('paypal')->__('Additional Options') ?>” onclick="[removed]window.open(’<?php echo $this->getAboutPaypalPageUrl() ?>’,’paypal’,’width=650,height=300,left=0,top=0,location=no,status=yes,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes’); return false;"><style="display:none"img src="<?php echo $this->escapeHtml($this->getLogoImageUrl()) ?>” alt="<?php echo Mage::helper('paypal')->__('Additional Options') ?>” title="<?php echo Mage::helper('paypal')->__('additional options') ?>” /></a>
</div>

I hope this helps.  It took me hours to figure this out.

You can disable this Logo via Admin Panel:

System - Configuration - PayPal - Frontend Experience Settings
PayPal Product Logo = No Logo

I was looking for the answer to this as well. The PayPal section has been moved in Magento 1.7.

You can disable the logo by going here:

Login in to admin panel and go to the following paypal configuration section mentioned below,

System->configuration->payment methods -> Paypal All in one payments solutions->
Paypal Payments Advanced (includes express checkout)-> Basic settings paypal payments advanced->
Frontend Expereince settings -> Paypal Product Logo

Found the answer here.

Amazing. Thank you for this!

How many devs does it take to realize this function was moved in 1.7?

Thanks for the solution provided above. It works like a charm.
But jeez, how much config options and sub options can an item have, lol.

Yes, this worked for me. Have posted a tutorial on our website, as the UK version lives in a place with a different name and this ain’t an easy option to discover!

If you’re using UK PayPal, the option lives under “Website Payments Pro Hosted Solution (Includes Express Checkout)”, and just keep scrolling down until you see it buried in there. I would have never thought to have looked in there, as it’s not the payment solution we’re using.

Tip also posted here. Hope my post saves someone more time than I just spent on this… I knew the option would be somewhere. But seriously. There??!?
